The programme will enable you to develop a broad understanding of management in practice, and is relevant to business, trade and commerce in both the public and private sector. You will be involved in activities that consider the complexity of management challenges and the combined impact of the economic, financial, and human issues that managers deal with on a daily basis.
By using outbound management training programs specifically conducted in our outdoor campus , you will be simulated to use techniques that managers use in developing practical solutions. You will also develop the skills to analyze management issues in relation to company priorities, external factors and current perceptions of "good practice".
Entry Requirements :
A -level of SMA 3 or equivalent : a good level of written and spoken English (if needed, English language training courses will be offered). For transfer students: exemptions from a complete stage of a programme or from various subjects will be decided on an individual basis. Intakes: January, May and August.
Your Degree Pathway
The International Management Study Program at UWP Surabaya is a 144-credit study program that can be completed in eight semesters. The International Class of UWP is taught in English. All subjects are compulsory for pure students, however there is some flexibility in the subjects taken for transferred students.
First Year ; Introduction to Micro & Macroeconomics, Introduction to Accounting 1 & 2, English 1 & 2, Introduction to Management , Organization Behavior, Management Information System, Principle of Marketing , Maths 1 & 2, Financial Management , Statistics 1&2 , Business Communication.
Second Year ; Managerial Economics, Cost Accounting , Sociology, Management Accounting , International Economy, International Finance, Research Methodology, Operations Management, , Marketing Management 1, Banking & Finance, Legal Environment of Business,
Third Year ; : Marketing Management 2,Human Resources Management, International Management, International Marketing,, Consumer Behavior , Strategic Management, Business Feasibility Study, Entrepreneurship, Marketing Seminar, HRM Seminar.
Fourth Year: Thesis, Elective Subjects.
